MY STORYHello Curious Reader! I'm Maria Angel, I go by Ang! I am a passionate graphic design student on a creative journey fueled by curiosity and a love for visual storytelling. Originally from Manta, Ecuador; I'm currently immersed in the vibrant world of design at SUNY Farmingdale pursuing my bachelor’s degree.
Fast forward twenty or so years later as a graphic design student, I thrive on the fine line between art and functionality. Each project is an opportunity to blend not only reality but creativity; with purpose, crafting designs that not only captivate the eye but also resonate deeply with their intended audience.
My fascination with design began long before I entered the classroom. From the small four walls of my sixth-grade art classroom, I realized that the world was much, much bigger than just what it seemed…
MORE ABOUT MEBeyond the confines of the classroom, I love exploring new techniques, trends, and technologies in our ever-evolving world of design. Whether experimenting with digital tools or sketching out ideas by hand, I'm always eager to push the boundaries of my craft and keep on learning about myself and my skills.
When I'm not immersed in pixels and vectors, you can often find me with my kitty exploring new places, soaking up inspiration from the world around me, or simply enjoying a good book with a cup of coffee in hand, and never forget my sketch pad!
